On 1 October 2009, Iran agreed to allow nuclear inspectors to survey the country’s second uranium enrichment plant, which will take place on 25 October. The announcement comes following talks in Geneva concerning Iran’s nuclear program between the five permanent members of the UN Security Council – China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States – as well as Germany and Iran.
